Regional Development Forum for the Europe and CIS countries will be held in Chisinau

At the invitation of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication, the Telecommunication Development Bureau of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) organizes on May 4-6, 2010, in Chisinau, the Republic of Moldova, the Regional Development Forum for the Europe and CIS countries „Next Generation Networks (NGN) and Broadband”.

Experts and representatives of the Telecommunication Development Bureau of the ITU, Regional ITU Bureau, administrations and operators of telecommunication and information technologies, researchers, as well as representatives from Russian Federation, Republic of Armenia, Ukraine, Romania, Albania, Greece, Czech Republic and others will participate in the event.

Various topics are to be discussed within the Forum: recent ICT events, recommendations on the development of the Next Generation Networks (NGN) and Broadband, implementation of the new technologies and services in this domain, strategies and policies of this sphere development, use of various cooperation opportunities. The Forum offers to academic, public and business environment of the Republic of Moldova a unique possibility of experience exchange with international specialists in this field.
