The event is organized by the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Moldova and the Telecommunication Development Bureau of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
Prime Minister Vlad Filat has greeted on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Moldova the organisation of the event in Chisinau, noting that this proves that our country's telecommunications is recognized internationally.
"One of our priorities is to develop sustainable external partnerships and today's event comes to confirm that we are in the process of achieving that goal" stressed Filat.
The premier said that Moldova is interested in taking the experience of advanced countries in the sphere of telecommunications, as that area is internationally competitive.
